Description

I would like to say thank you for all the feedbacks and support. I am glad you enjoyed the comic, as much as I enjoy making them =)
If you spot some mistake feel free to note me personally, or comment below. I make mistake, especially when I work until 2 am in the morning.
It's 3am in the morning now, because tomorrow is a holiday. lol

Okay... it seems its been a while I wrote something in this section.

Author's Note:
1.  So, let's get to some of the notes on Thane's infection theory.
In the Armello trailer, the king's eyes are purple and slight pink in the pupil. Thane's eyes pretty much followed that. And in the game, the King seems to act like someone who still has his brain intact: can give orders and execute new laws and can speak on a daily basis, I assume that his version of infection is different than the kind of rot bearers we see in the trickery card:  Plague bearers . So, I deduce there is 2 types of rot infection overall. One that enchances the bearer, while another simply turns them into a brain eating maniac. Thane got the former.

2."How does the Mountain Moss works?"  So, here is the really messy part, which is not set on stone. In this world, the warlock can controls anyone as long as they have gone pass a certain degree of infections. The amount that they can be controlled depends on how far the infection has affected the brain, or the sub-conscious system. So, the early state of Thane, having only the arm infected won't be controlled by the warlock. I guess you can picture mountain moss acted like pain killers, they suppress the pain, it's still there, but you won't feel it until the medicine wear off over time. So, after consuming the Mountain Moss, the amount of infection "level" had been suppressed, HOWEVER, they are still there, and that's why Thane still have his inhuman strength. The only different is, the rot won't be spreading anytime soon. This no longer stay true to the Game mechanics, since you can still gain rot ratings during the Mountain Moss effects. Other wise, I would have a hard time trying to add and reduce and then add  the rot effects again which would be messy to the story pace.

3. So, what does the rot effect had on Thane? Other than the cool tattoos, they enhance the characters, but how? I assume there will be an increase in the muscle mass since Thane is now more powerful. But instead of ended up like some bloated muscle head, he maintain the same. I would say magic... but in a way there is an idea that mutation took place on his bone that makes them heavier and tougher (higher density), which goes the same to the muscle mass. In other words, the only thing that may be physically noticeable, would be the crazy amount of weight he has gained. We should have him step on someone soon. =)

4. Barnaby's Iron Man hand. The eject and the flail-like attack, with the ability to grab hold of the victim. I actually sketched out a rough design of how I can get the gauntlet to work like in the game. While i don't know if its mechanically feasible at that time period, or realistic at all (lol I am no brilliant inventor)... Okay, that hand obviously is larger than Barnaby's hand so we needed some kind of mechanism to control. And in the game he can swing the gauntlet like a flail with the fingers clenched tight. What i can come up, is strings and springs. By default, the fingers of the gauntlet are clenched tight if we put mini springs around the finger joint (expansion force). So, to open the gauntlet hand, barnaby have to pull the strings, or little levers in the arm. And that's basically it. Given how he can pick up a hammer almost the same as his size, I reckon his fingers strength is pretty high as well. So, with the fingers closed tight by default, he can actually launched the hand without having the gauntlet's fingers slapping people like crazy.
