Huo Hung Character Design

Heh.. I have never made any pic on those other than the good guys. So, here's one speedpaint for the baddies in my Broken Butterfly comic. Done in half an hour.

I've always wanted to try a style of shadow shading I see in manga. It definitely distinguish the lighting and shadow zone, but I remembered, last time, when I used this in coloring. It turns catastrophic.... which, I never used that again.

As an update about the comic progress. Boy, am I slow. I guess I was able to kick start the continuation because there was a long holiday during Chinese new Year. And after I gone back to work, everything went down hard again. So, to be honest, it still going to take a while. However, most of the major panels are now complete...
